Jensen Button Project
When fans want to get a close look at the car driven by reigning Formula 1 world champion Jensen Button in his winning season, they see it through a custom glass top table designed and manufactured by Futureglass.
The exhibit, which is based at Absolute Authentic, Silverstone Technology Park by the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, features race memorabilia as well as the car itself. Absolute Authentic was created by one of Jenson Button’s mechanics and features a wide range of certified sports memorabilia from F1 to boxing.
The glass top table provides essential protection for Jensen Button’s car while allowing visitors to get a clear view into the high-tech cockpit of this championship-winning car. The Futureglass table also provides a display surface for objects of interest like Jensen Button’s racing helmets.

The glass table top is manufactured from tempered glass to BS 6206A to guarantee durability, strength, and safety, ideal for a busy display centre. Glass table tops used for display can be produced in a variety of finishes and colours, with precise colour matching to a specific colour, such as a Dulux, RAL or BS colour number to give the closest possible match to a corporate identity.
The table can be made even more distinctive with the addition of bespoke text, images or other graphics to the glass table top. Futureglass can create this bespoke feature by engraving, printing, etching or sandblasting the images. The images can also be created in colours to match corporate identity.
The exhibit has already proved popular with Formula 1 enthusiasts. With a dream team of Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton chasing the world title in the coming season, Absolute Authentic may need room for another Futureglass table.
